6pm: Dinner at Uncommon Ground
Join fellow alumni and College President Dr. Quentin Wheeler for dinner and conversation! Uncommon Ground emphasizes seasonal, regional, organic ingredients and operates the first Certified Organic Roof Top Farm in the US, as well as the first certified organic brewery in Illinois (Greenstar Brewing). Enjoy cocktails and hors d’oeuvres on the “roof farm” followed by dinner. Dr. Wheeler will give a brief College Update. We will also be joined by Reid Bogert, Coordinator of Great Lakes and Sustainability at the Daniel P. Haerther Center for Conservation and Research. Reid will give us an overview of the activities planned for Friday.
