Enjoy a family friendly weekend of fun, food, and fellowship on the farm at Camp McDowell! All combinations and interpretations of families are welcome to experience this special retreat focussed on the care of creation in the beauty of "God's Backyard"!
TCamp McDowell is beautiful in the fall! Rejuvenate your spirit in the clean, cool air; walk through our woods, play in our pastures, and watch the sun set over Sloan Lake. The feeling is easy-going, and the results will be restorative!
Our knowlegeable farm staff will guide you in planting, harvesting, and food preparation activities, as well as hands-on care of McDowell farm animals. We have goats, chickens, pigs, and some very cute rabbits. And, make no mistake, we are very serious about having fun!
Our chaplain, the Rev. Jonathan Chesney (Holy Trinity, Auburn) will lead faith-based discussion for reflection. Other traditional camp activities (like hiking and boating) will make this a truly memorable and holy time for you and yours.
This event is recommended for ages 6 and up.
Quality time in God's creation is a true gift.
