BradenStrong T-Shirts 

Thank you for your support. Shirts can be picked up Saturday March 14 and Saturday March 21 from 10am to noon at Groves High School in the weight room (just through the pool doors). Please contact Ashley Caza (ac2@me.com) if you would like to pick up your shirt at another time.

On Tuesday Jan 28th, Braden Hall was diagnosed with Leukemia. Braden and his older brother, Bryce, are Patriot Football alumni, and of course, fine young men. Braden last played for the Patriot Varsity team in 2018. Braden will be at Beaumont Hospital in Royal Oak for the next 3.5 weeks or possibly longer. Wish Upon A Teen (https://www.wishuponateen.org) provides a great program for teenagers facing long hospital stays due to severe illness.

 Wish Upon A Teen has been contacted and asked to perform a room makeover at Braden’s hospital room. Design My Room® is an exclusive Wish Upon a Teen program for teenagers facing extended hospitalization due to life-threatening illness or serious injury.

Thanks to partnerships with hospitals throughout the country, Wish Upon a Teen is given access to the teen’s hospital room and allowed to redecorate it to feel more comforting and relaxing – more like “home.”. This includes bringing in new bedding, rugs, posters and even movie or sports memorabilia, all according to the teen’s interests and tastes.

This simple makeover has a remarkably positive impact on a teenager’s sense of well-being. And once the teen is ready to return home, they can take all of the decorative items with them to use however they desire.
