CWA Charleston: April 29-30, 2016
The Mary Martin Gallery in Charleston is presenting an exhibition of wood art by our friends and colleagues Andy DiPietro, Ashley Harwood, Christian Burchard, Cindy Drozda, Cynthia Gibson, David Ellsworth, Derek Weidman, Dixie Biggs, John Beaver, Keith Holt, Marilyn Campbell, Stephen Hatcher, and Warren Carpenter.
In addition to a representative selection of their newest work, there will be one piece in the exhibit by each artist that responds to and interprets the tragic event at the Mother Emanuel AME Church, and the response of the city and state to the deaths of nine pastors and parishioners at the hands of a racially-inspired gunman.
In conjunction with this exhibition, Richard Hogue has planned an exciting weekend of activities for the Collectors of Wood Art and the artists.
