Authentic Learning

Creating Meaningful Learning Experiences for your D/HH Student

In many traditional American school settings (classrooms, desks, quizzes) students and teachers face intrinsic obstacles. Education occurs effectively when authentic learning is the approach. In this workshop, we will review four factors (context, content, pacing, and purpose) that can open the door for teachers and students to learn effectively. All the examples discussed will focus on students who are deaf or hard of hearing.

Great for Parents, Educators, Paraprofessionals, and Advocates!
