GUSA Rec Awards Day (Updated Info)

 All Rec. Players & Coaches season passes will be distributed this weekend prior to your last game.  Coaches or a team representative need to come to pick up the trophies, donuts or cupcakes & Dynamo season passes 30 minutes before your game.  These Items will be set up at (3) different locations.

1) One table will be set up on the Annex side by the ramp and fence (for teams playing on fields 13, 14A,  14B and 15

2) Another table will be set up by field 11 (for all U5/U6 teams)

3)  The 3rd table will be set up behind the concession stand on the hill in front of field 6 (for teams playing on Fields 4,5,6,& 7

Any additional family member who purchased the discounted season passes  can pick them up prior to the game starting at 4:00 at Macpherson Stadium.  The game kicks off at 7:00. 

All Rec players are ecouraged to come to the Dynamo game ,and will be recognized  on field at half-time.  Great photo opportunity for teams and families alike.  Come out & Cheer the Dynamo!

GUSA Family Member Season Pass:

Today the Carolina Dynamo and the Greensboro United Soccer Association (GUSA) announced an expanded partnership for the upcoming season Dynamo season. 

As part of their expanded partnership every youth player & coach in GUSA will receive a free season pass to attend all Dynamo home matches.  Additionally, any GUSA, and NC Fusion family member also has to opportunity to purchase a season pass for just $15 -- a minimum of a 70% savings off the gate ticket price. 

“Obviously we are excited as this grows our season ticket base by some 4,000 fans, but it also gives the opportunity for new families to enjoy the Triad’s highest level of soccer and most affordable form of family entertainment.  Our GUSA connection has a strong past, with 24 former GUSA players having seen time for the Dynamo.  The 2014 season will be no different, with 10 GUSA/NC Fusion players expected to suit up for the Dynamo. It’s great for a young player’s development to be able to see an extremely high level of soccer, right here in their backyard”, says Dynamo GM, Scott Zapko

About the Carolina Dynamo

Based in Greensboro, the Carolina Dynamo is the oldest minor league soccer team in the nation, entering our 22nd season in 2014.  The Dynamo is a team of elite college players with professional aspirations.  They compete for the Dynamo during the summer, from May to August, playing regular season games in Kentucky, Ohio, North Carolina, and South Carolina.  Many of our players are drafted by MLS clubs and can been seen playing National TV the following year.  The Dynamo has 40 former players currently playing professionally, including 19 in Major League Soccer.  Some 77 players have been selected in the MLS Superdraft after playing for the Dynamo. The Carolina Dynamo is one most successful clubs in all of US Soccer, having won five National Championships, multiple Conference Championships, and 12 Division Titles.
