Free Screening of "Clueless"
on April 15th

A.K. Smiley Public Library's "Southern California in Film" series continues on Saturday, April 15th at 2pm with a screening of Clueless at the Contemporary Club.

A modern-day adaptation of Jane Austen’s Emma, Clueless follows the privileged life of Cher Horowitz whose self-proclaimed skills at matchmaking leads her to examine her outlook on life. Set in Los Angeles, the film was shot in locales across the region, including Beverly Hills, Sherman Oaks, Eagle Rock, and Long Beach. An immediate hit upon its release, Clueless has been ranked among the best teen films ever made.

This film is rated PG-13. Registration is requested, but not required. No admission is charged for film screenings, thanks to the generous contributions of donors to the library. Face coverings are not required, but are strongly recommended.
