Artist Studio Tour 2015
September 26 & 27 

We are currently accepting applications from artists who would like to participate in this year's Artist Studio Tour.

The tour is a great opportunity for you to show and sell your work to a variety of guests in the convenience of your own home or studio.  Art lovers enjoy the experience of meeting the artists, seeing how the work is created, and finding a personal connection with the art that they are purchasing.   

This year we require each artist donate a single piece to the Calaveras County Arts Council for raffle.  The items will be on display in the Gallery Store as a "Preview Show" for approximately four weeks prior to the tour.  We may also use images of these items in our promotional efforts.  Choose a piece that represents you well as these will help generate interest in the tour and your work.  All proceeds from the raffle of these items go to the Arts Council.  These funds are used towards the cost of the Artist Studio Tour and in our continued effort to promote the arts Calaveras County.

Your entry fee is applied towards the costs for advertising, promotional materials and administrative expenses associated with publicizing this event to a wide range covering the entire Mother Lode and beyond. 

If you are a local artist interested in this event but do not have a sufficient studio space to show your work to the public, you can still participate.  We have artists who are willing to share some of their extra studio space.   Please contact us at 209.754.1774 and we will see what's available for you. 

Participation Requirements

• Be a current member of the Calaveras County Arts Council (you can join/renew at the time of application)
• Be a resident of Calaveras County
• Donate a piece of your work to be used as a raffle item for which all proceeds go to support the CCAC 

Application Process

• Submit your application
• Submit a digital image of your work to be used in promotional materials
• Pay your entry fee and membership dues (if required)

Application Fee: $75.00
Application Deadline:  July 28, 2015
