Introductory Canning Class I

Tuesday, August 5 from 10:30 to 2:30.

Intro class covers topics such as safety, different methods of canning, and equipment overview. Then using local, seasonal produce, we’ll begin prepping to preserve in jars. The class will be broken into small groups, working together on individual recipes. We’ll do crushed tomatoes and peaches, depending on availability.
