Handlebars for the Homeless (HH) is a guided bike tour that will highlight Detroit’s hidden treasures. The tour will begin and end at the NSO Bell Building on Oakman Blvd. (former Michigan Bell Building). The approximately 16-mile tour will take participants through some of Detroit’s most beautiful areas including the campus of University of Detroit-Mercy, Sherwood Forest and Boston Edison neighborhoods, Palmer Park and more.

General Information
Registration Fee: $25/person through August 10 or $30/person after August 10
Start/Finish: NSO Bell Building - 882 Oakman Blvd., Detroit
Parking: Secure parking available at the NSO Bell Building
Driving and Parking Information
T-shirts: Participants may pick up their NSO Handlebars for the Homeless T-shirt at onsite check-in and registration.
Onsite Check-in: All cyclist must check in before riding. At check-in, riders will sign a participant waiver, receive a rider wristband and T-shirt.
Onsite Registration: Participants may register to ride at the event. The onsite registration fee is $30/person.
Helmet Policy: All cyclists must wear a bicycle helmet - No amplified music/whistles - No children under 14 years of age - All youth must be accompanied by a parent throughout the ride.
Starting Times:
8:30 a.m. – Onsite Check-in and Registraion Open
9:45 a.m. – Gather for departure - Final Instructions
10:00 a.m. – Depart
12:00 p.m. – Approximate Return Time
