Montessori Paraprofessional Administrator Program • August 1 - 5, 2016

Anna lecturing

"An adult must assist a child in such a way that he can act and carry out his own work in the world."

Maria Montessori

The Paraprofessional Administrator Course covers the basics of the Montessori approach and includes a fifth day focusing on Montessori leadership. For many years participants have increased their understanding and strengthened their effectiveness in working with children through Seton’s Course. For others, the course has been a stepping stone in deciding to pursue full teaching certification or administration certification.

Classes meet for a full day on each of the five days. All attendees will receive a certificate of completion after full participation in the course as well as a record of continuing professional development (CPD) from the American Montessori Society. Seton Montessori Institute is also a Gateways Registry Authorized Entity delivering professional development to those serving your children in the state of Illinois. More information regarding Gateways to Opportunity Registry can be found here.

Each day we become more aware of the significance of the adults in a young child’s environment. Prepare yourself to meet their needs (and those of their parents) with a couse that encompasses an in-depth view of Maria Montessori’s philosophy, as well as techniques for everyday work.
