Group Hike the "Peaks of Pender" Bridge 

Meet at the start of the boardwalk in Soundside Park, 517 Roland Ave, Surf City. Please take care not to park in the rear section of the parking lot reserved for boat trailers. If the front lots are full, please park along Roland Street.   

We had such a memorable group jaunt over the bridge in 2019 that we are going to do it again! Join the whole group (and bring your friends and families) as we scale the highest heights at the coast on the Surf City Bridge which has a dedicated pedestrian lane.  After Shay wraps up his show at 6:45, we will gather as a group at the start of the boardwalk. 

We’ll follow the boardwalk to the base of the bridge, and then up and over at your own pace. Take photos of the island, the Intracoastal and the Ocean in one shot.  Sunset is at 7:29.  Many bridge hikers enjoyed stopping briefly on the mainland for dinner or drinks before crossing back over at their leisure.
