Jacksonville - MST Birthday Hike / Bike

LOCATION: Lejeune Greenway starting at Biagios Restaurant.

BIKE DESCRIPTION: Bike (or stroll) the Lejeune Greenway. We'll stop at the Lejeune Memorial Gardens for a tour, the halfway point of the ride. Lejeune Memorial Gardens is where visitors come to honor those who serve and remember those who have given their lives for our country. It is home to the Beirut Memorial, the Onslow Vietnam Veterans Memorial, the Montford Point Marine Memorial, and 9/11 Memorial Beam from the World Trade Center. Riders (and hikers) can continue on to the Camp Lejeune main entrance before turning back for a longer excursion. Join us for breakfast before the ride at Biagio's at 8:30!

MEETING LOCATION: Biagios Restaurant - 622 Court Street, Jacksonville, NC 28540 (8:30 Breakfast at Biagios before we set off on the Greenway)
