Meet Sahar
As we witness women leaders rising to network, to innovate, and to be a part of the biggest change in the world. Sahar Kordahi, founder of The Bright Side of Life Women’s Gatherings, is a master at community building and an international speaker who has devoted her business to assisting women to build stronger, deeper, and more passionate communities.
The Bright Side of Life began quietly in 2008 with six members meeting in Sahar's family room. Sahar’s vision of gathering like-minded women from diverse backgrounds to celebrate their beauty and uniqueness as women has now grown to include more than 5,000 members over its five-year history.
As we see more and more women stepping into leadership roles to be catalysts of the biggest changes in the world, Sahar’s vision as a speaker is to inspire women globally to come together for greater unity and collaboration. In her most recent talk, "Love, Belonging and the Need for Community," she takes the audience on a deeper understanding of the journey of belonging to community as it relates to their personal, business, global and spiritual lives.
Sahar Kordahi's The Bright Side of Life was named Women-Owned Business of the Year by Women’s Initiative for Self Employment and was featured in the Wall Street Journal.
Sahar shared her message of “The Gift of Acceptance” at the Shift Network's global “Peace Week” and “Summer of Peace” conferences, which included Deepak Chopra, Marianne Williamson and Indira Gandhi, among many other visionaries.
In May of 2013, Sahar was awarded Powerful Women International Presents Women of Legacy Awards in San Francisco, CA.
She is devoted to the success and happiness of her community clients. She also enjoys spending influential time with her two college-aged daughters, walking and connecting with nature, photography, traveling around the world, and coordinating inspirational sessions at her monthly Bright Side of Life gatherings.
