Emergency Preparedness and Response Section
for ESAR-VHP responders to Tallahassee. ***
Working and living in special needs shelter serving vulnerable populations of an impacted county with no infrastructure and support services in a primitive setting.
This request is for qualified nurses, EMTs/paramedics and physicians.
Applicants must be registered with PHEVR at http://www.ndhealth.gov/EPR/HP/PHEVR/
Responders will be expected to cover all expenses and be reimbursed in a timely manner.
We estimate transportation costs from Bismarck, Minot, Grand Forks, and Fargo to run $800-1,000 roundtrip.
Do not purchase plane tickets or incur any other expenses until you have been notified of acceptance.
We anticipate working conditions to be 12-hours shifts for 14 days.
(An additional travel day to and from Tallahassee is added to the time commitment to make the total time 16 days.)
Reimbursement date is to be determined.
Existing state employees will be reimbursed at their current rate under existing policies.
Non-state employees will become temporary state employees and reimbursed for hours (to include overtime) worked as follows:
LPNs: $27.00
EMTs: $28.50
Paramedics: $40.50
Registered Nurses: $40.50
Physicians: $135.00
