Víctor, a 17 year-old handcart operator, dreams of becoming famous, thanks to the TV he was watching at an appliance store in the Municipal Market Number 4. The teenager receives an unusual proposal: to transport 7 boxes with unknown contents in exchange for a torn half of a $100 bill. Víctor, who has never seen a bill of this denomination, has no idea how much it is worth in Guaraníes (Paraguayan) but he also knows that he doesn’t have the right to ask. Víctor and his pursuers will get involved in a crime that they don’t know anything about.

 

 

Showtime: 7:00pm at Directors Guild Theater.  Preceded byHavana Star Prize Award Ceremony.
