Mission Immersion Experience San Francisco
June 25 - July 1, 2018
This trip is for those who want to experience the transformative joy of meeting God through encounters with others at the peripheries. Priority will be given to parish and diocesan leaders and ministers who will be able to bring the experience back to their communities and ministries.
During the immersion you will stay at the Maryknoll Mission Center in Los Altos and travel daily to the St. Anthony Foundation in the Tenderloin District of San Francisco to encounter God in the people who are poor, elderly and homeless and who struggle to survive. During the afternoon and evenings we will spend time in prayer and reflection to explore our response and call to live as Missionary Disciples.
Suggested donation: $650; includes immersion program, housing and meals.
Once you are accepted, you will be asked to make a $100 non-refundable deposit.
