Lent is our communal season of repentance. Repentance or metanoia is about changing our mind, direction or perspective. We are invited on Ash Wednesday to turn away from sin and be faithful to the Gospel.
Join us this Ash Wednesday for a Day of Reflection to ponder whether we need to redirect our focus on what will bring us the true joy that God wishes for us. What do we need to turn away from that keeps us from accepting God's love, letting it take root within us and sharing it with everyone, especially those who need it the most?
We will begin the day with prayer and distribution of ashes in our chapel followed by guided meditations, reflections and sharing. There will be ample time for quiet personal reflection inside the Mission House or in the garden outside. A light lunch will be provided. Wear comfortable clothes and bring a journal with you.
