Case Study: Managing the Message When the Message is Unimaginable

How Orlando Health managed
the Pulse Nightclub shooting crisis

Skyppresentation with the Orlando Health emergency management team for a look inside the events of this nightclub shooting timeline. Diving deep into crisis communication and media relations

On June 12, 2016, a 29-year-old killed 49 people and wounded 58 others in a terrorist attack/hate crime inside Pulse, a nightclub in Orlando, Florida, becoming the deadliest mass shooting in modern US history. Orlando Health was instantly in the spotlight as the closest medical facility to the shooting, racing to save victims.

Join us on Thursday, October 19th for a Skype presentation with the Orlando Health emergency management team for a look inside the events of this nightclub shooting timeline. Diving deep into crisis communication and media relations, the team will give us a minute by minute update on how their hospital handled the crisis from the first patient arriving and onward through the next few days. This is a luncheon you won’t want to miss. Space is limited; reserve your spot today!
