Photographing Artwork with Your Smartphone with Rick Wright

Want to learn how to take beautiful images of your artwork? Here is your chance to learn from teaching artist Rick Wright. We will discuss lighting, camera angle, how to set up your artwork, and helpful editing tips all within your smartphone. We are collecting images of your artwork from the past year for a digital exhibition at Cherry Street Pier this summer. This webinar will help you make the best shots of your work. If you'd like to participate in the exhibition please send your images to artwork@fleisher.org.

Advanced registration is required.

Rick Wright's work has been widely exhibited, including shows at Wall Space Gallery (Seattle), the Center for Emerging Visual Artists, Perkins Center for the Arts, Silicon Gallery, Grounds for Sculpture, and the Museum of Modern Art, among many others. Additionally, Wright's work appears in the permanent collections of the Philadelphia Museum of Art, the Museum of Fine Arts Houston, and Johnson & Johnson Corporation.

He holds a master of fine arts in painting from Columbia University, a bachelor of arts in art & archaeology/fine art from Princeton University, and a certificate from the International Center of Photography.

Rick brings a wide range of teaching experience to the classroom, having previously taught courses at Rowan University and the University of Rio Grande.
