Pop Arts: Virtual Postcards in a Virtual World (grades 6-8) with Zilla Elcin

In this workshop, we'll make super cool digital postcards on Canva. (Canva is available on any web browser and also in a free app, though the phone app is a little bit trickier to use.) We'll start by taking a look at the mail art movement and the evolution of modern communication from the postal service to digital technology. Then the instructor will demonstrate the functionality of Canva and all its available free tools that are available. We'll then design and create digital postcards and send them to our friends to let them know "I'm thinking of you - here's some art!"
