CoreNet Global North Texas Chapter Community Event
This Saturday, May 4th, CoreNet Global North Texas Members and Non-Members will lend a hand to the Builders of Hope Community Development Corporation, which has built and repaired over 400 homes in our North Texas community. One of the neighborhoods that launched BOH’s operation, and that continues to face poverty and blight, is the area of Westmoreland Heights.
Builders of Hope CDC will partner with CoreNet in completing two beautification projects in Westmoreland Heights on Homeland Street.

Project 1 – Westmoreland Heights Community Center
The Westmoreland Heights Community Center is a community mainstay and a place that hosts senior activities, community meetings, and a community food pantry that feeds hundreds on a weekly basis. Recently, the community center experienced vandalism and is unable to repair the damage. We’ll provide basic repairs which will allow the center to stay in operation.
Project Scope: Landscaping, Power wash outside, Inside Painting, Trash Pick, Window Repair

Project 2- Ms. Vivian Trotter Home- Disabled Senior
Ms. Trotter is a community leader that is currently in rehabilitation due to poor health. As a result, the upkeep of her home have been left undone and she is at risk of being fined by the city’s code enforcement.
Project Scope: Heavy Landscaping, Painting Ramp, Painting Home Trim
