Conservation Congress 2014: Charting a Course to Protect and Preserve Our Natural Resources 

On April 11 and 12, 2014, IDNR will host Conservation Congress in Springfield.  The two day event will feature panel discussions, breakout sessions, and ample opportunities to interact with IDNR staff.

Friday, April 11

12:00 - 1:00 PM Registration

1:00 - 1:30 PM  Welcome and Overview of Conservation Congress

1:30 - 2:30 PM  Preserving and Protecting Our Natural Resources through Advocacy and Regulation (panel)

2:30 - 3:00 PM  Break

3:00 - 4:00 PM  Breakout Session I (During registration, you will choose your preferred topics.)

4:10 - 5:10 PM  Breakout Session II (You will choose different topics for this session.)

5:30 - 7:00 PM  Reception on the IDNR grounds (Refreshments provided)

Saturday, April 12

9:00 - 10:15 AM  Reports from Breakout Sessions

10:15-10:45 AM  Voting and Break

10:45 - 11:45 AM  Apex Predators in Illinois:  Now and in the Future (panel)

11:45 AM - 12:30 PM  Review and Prioritization/Moving Forward

This meeting is free and open to the public.  However, you must register by Monday, March 31, 2014 to participate.  Breakout sessions have limited capacity and we will do our best to place you in your preferred session.
