People with BPD have problems with interpersonal relationships
 and feel emotional/mental pain most of the time. They experience SHAME as an underlying emotion in their daily
lives. Compassion Focused Therapy is the only therapy
that directly addresses the feeling of shame in BPD.
Dr. Tirch will introduce you to the principals of Compassion Focused Therapy and talk about the need for mpeople with BPD to develop self compassion.
