RECITAL: Saturday, May 23rd at the McKinney Performing Arts Center (this is a more traditional recital in the theatre - see the information to the left for more details).

SHOWCASE: Sunday, May 24th at House of Blues Dallas (this is a less traditional option, primarily due to the venue - see the information to the left for more details).

Please note: This is Memorial Day weekend. We are aware of the challenges and the benefits of hosting these events on Memorial Day weekend. We are limited by venue availability, as well as Mothers Day weekend, etc. 

There is a FIRM deadline of May 1st to register online for this showcase and recital.
Registration will all be managed strictly through an online registration process (see below for an opportunity to register or to decline).

As usual, we will have two choices for students - you are welcome to choose the performance that best suits you (whether due to venue, date, etc.). We ask that each student choose only one of these two options - the Recital at the McKinney Performing Arts Center or the Showcase at House of Blues Dallas.

Some very important things to note regarding these events:

• ALL STUDENTS (regardless of age/skill level, time in lessons, etc.) are encouraged to perform! The performances are not mandatory, but they are a lot of fun, and we want everyone to join us!
• There will be a fee of $25 per student who registers to perform. This fee will be charged on/around June 1st, using the same method of payment as your tuition.
• The deadline to register is May 1st. It is essential that you register (using this online registration system - link below) no later than May 1st. After May 1st, we will be unable to make any changes to registration.
• There will be multiple performances each day. The final timing and number of performances will be determined by how many students register to perform. The events will likely begin mid to late morning and extend into the evening each day. Each student who registers for the recital or showcase will be assigned a performance time, and will receive confirmation of their final scheduled time by email on Wednesday, May 13th.
• Any special requests must also be submitted by May 1st. Special requests regarding performance time assignments are very difficult to accommodate, but we do our best to do so. If you need to make a special request regarding your time assignment (e.g., earliest performance of the day, or after a certain time), this must be submitted no later than May 1st. It is best if you can do this with your online registration. Because of the amount of planning that is involved in preparing for successful performances, we will not be able to make any changes after May 1st.
• Register early! We have to reserve our performance venues several months in advance, and we have to specify the amount of time we need at each venue upon making these reservations. As such, there are only a certain number of performers we can have at each venue. If registration for one date/venue fills up more quickly than the other, students who register a little later may only have the option of one date/venue. Between the two venues, there should be space for everyone to perform, but in order to be sure to get to perform in the venue of your choice, be sure to register early! 

We strive to make the recital and showcase very enjoyable for students as well their guests. We encourage students to dress according to how they will feel best - some students dress up significantly and others dress more casually. We leave that decision up to each student. Also, while we do encourage it, we do not require that students memorize their music. We realize that this can add undue stress on some students, so again, we leave this decision to each student.

There are no fees for guests to attend either venue. We want everyone to come and enjoy themselves!
