Emerging Issues in
Occupational and
Environmental Health
At the end of this activity, the attendees should have accessible knowledge to recognize emerging issues in Occupational and Environmental Health related to worker safety and health. They should be able to recognize current issues such as emerging issues on Commercial Driver Medical Examinations, strategies for correcting health and safety misinformation (ethics), the future of occupational and environmental health, One Health, respiratory disease in workers, aviation medicine, behavioral health and violence in the workplace.
Physicians, nurses including occupational health, plant and school nurses, Other health care providers and emergency responders, health and safety managers/professionals, public health officials/professionals, industrial hygienists, physical/occupational therapists, veterinarians, labor representatives, as well as other professionals involved in infection control, disaster preparedness and crisis management.
