Guest Speaker: Trent Horn
After his conversion to the Catholic faith, Trent Horn pursued an undergraduate degree in History from Arizona State University. He then earned a graduate degree in theology from Franciscan University of Steubenville and is currently pursuing a graduate degree in philosopy from Holy Apostles College.
Trent is a regular guest on the radio program Catholic Answers Live, a lecturer who speaks across the country on issues related to the Catholic faith, and the author of two books, Answering Atheism and Persuasive Pro-life, both of which are published by Catholic Answers Press.
Conference Sessions
Session 1: Refuting Relativism - "That's true for you, but not for me!" In this talk you'll learn how to refute relativist slogans and provide compelling evidence for the objective truth of the Catholic Faith.
Session 2: No More Mr. Nice Guy - In this version of his popular talk "The Beginners Guide to Defending Your Faith," Trent rallies men to use the masculine gifts God gave them in order to defend their families and their Faith.
Session 3: Why Be Catholic? - Trent shows why the Bible can't be our sole rule of faith, why the Catholic view of salvation makes sense, and why Catholics pray to Mary and the saints.
Session 4: Answering Atheism - In this talk Trent not only answers the most common arguments for atheism; he presents a powerful case for the existence of God.
