40-Hour Advancing Core Advocacy Training in New Mexico Tribal Communities for New Advocates 

 

This in-person training is the Coalition to Stop Violence Against Native Women's (CSVANW) 40 Hour-Core Advocacy Training that provides new domestic violence, sexual assault advocates and first responders with state certification across New Mexico and the Four Corners region. CSVANW's 40 Hour Advancing Core Advocacy Training is one of two state certified trainings for new advocates. We aim to help first responders and domestic violence advocates work together effectively in a time of crisis.

This training is scheduled for November 14th – 16th, 2023 from            9am – 5pm daily at the Arc of New Mexico in Albuquerque, NM.

40-Hour Certification

 To receive the full 40-Hour Certification, advocates must also complete 16.25 hours of the OVC-TTAC Online Training. After completing the online training portion, advocates will upload their training hours to an AirTable link that will be provided. Here is the link to OVC trainings: OVC-TTAC Online Training
