7th Annual Tribal Leaders Summit Booth Registration 

The Coalition to Stop Violence Against Native Women is excited to once again convene and share space with our tribal leadership for a two-day summit on the status of violence against Native women and children in New Mexico. An annual briefing that focuses on providing policy and legislative updates, share best practices directly from our communities and provide a current state of affairs in the movement to end violence. 

The summit highlights the unique tribal, state and federal perspectives and challenges that our New Mexico tribal communities face in regard to addressing and responding to violence against our Native women and children. 

Invited tribal, federal, state agencies:

  • 20 Pueblos (includes Ysleta Del Sur Pueblo), the Navajo Nation, and both the Jicarilla Apache and Mescalero Apache Nations 
  • New Mexico Children, Youth and Families Department
  • New Mexico Office of the Attorney General
  • Bureau of Indian Affairs
    Federal Bureau of Investigations
  • Office on Violence Against Women, U.S. Department of Justice
  • Indian Country Crimes Section, District of New Mexico, U.S. Attorney

Priority will be given to current CSVANW Member organizations.

Set up time is from 7:30am - 8:30am on April 1, 2020.

Applicants will be notified on 3/20/20 as space is limited.
