The Clobber Passages

Facilitator: Bill Frisbie The word “clobber” means to hit hard, defeat heavily, treat or deal with harshly. Christians have long used a few passages in the bible to “clobber” people, especially those who identify or support LGBTQIA individuals. However, they have also been used to justify racism, anti-Semitism and misogyny.
