This year's theme "ABC's Of Addiction: Building Blocks To Recovery" focuses on addiction professionals re-defining their toolbox for 21st century addiction treatment.
Student Discounts
We value student participation and the future of the industry. Students may attend all workshops but will not receive CEUs. Students may receive a certificate of attendance by request. Awards Lunch tickets will be included in full student registrations.
Volunteer Discounts
Volunteers are an integral part of the success of the SPECTRUM Conference. The volunteer policy is that for each day you volunteer, you will be required to proctor the equal of two (2) complete workshops and handle all the responsibilities for those workshops. Volunteers will register and pay half the conference fee by October 7, 2016. All Volunteers work the Keynote Presentations and the Saturday Luncheon. New Member Discounts
If you are not currently a member of the Texas Association of Addiction Professionals, consider joining at the Conference! When you become a member on-site, you will receive a rebate of $50 on your Full Conference Registration Fee in the form of a discounted membership fee. Instead of paying $145, the normal Membership Fee, you will pay $95. Discount does NOT apply to membership renewals, only to NEW Memberships. Register at http://www.naadac.org/join
Continuing Education Credits
Participants can earn up to 21.5 CE credit hours approved for eligibility toward both state licensure and renewal. Three hours of ethics, three hours of clinical supervision, and six hours of HIV/AIDS/HEPC/STD offerings are all available. For LCDCs, hours are covered under TCBAP Provider No. 0016-87 (exp. 9/30/17). For Social Workers, hours are covered under DSHS Provider No. 6623 (exp. 4/30/17). For LPCs, hours are covered under DSHS Provider No. 2503 (exp. 9/30/17). For LMFTs, hours are covered under DSHS Provider No. 928 (exp. 10/31/17).
Recovery Support Specialists can now use Spectrum hours to meet their continuing education requirements.
