After the success of our recent netwalk at Rainton Meadows Nature Reserve, we're delighted to have been invited back by Durham Wildlife Trust, this time to to one of our region’s most important wildlife sites, Low Barns Nature Reserve, this wetland reserve, bordered by the River Wear, also contains mixed woodlands and species rich grasslands.
Join us for a wild breakfast and a wildlife wellbeing walk around Low Barns Nature Reserve. Find out how Durham Wildlife Trust manage their sites for wildlife, how they educate and engage with their members and what you can do to support reversing ecological decline and conserving wildlife in our region.
Following breakfast at 9 am, we will enjoy a short walk with good paths, do wrap up ready for changing weather conditions and wear comfortable footwear.
You can also check out the FAQs to help answer any queries you might have as face-to-face events make a cautious, but hopefully permanent, return.
Due to limited numbers, this event is restricted to DBC Members Only.
