Currently, it takes 18 months or longer to get a project’s 401/404 permit from the San Diego Regional Water Quality Control Board (RWQCB). The BIA has expressed to RWQCB Staff that we would like to get the approval timeline down to less than 12 months.
RWQCB Executive Officer Dave Gibson and Senior Water Resources Control Engineer Eric Becker will share how applicants can shorten the timeline on their application process. Learn directly from the regulators on how they review projects, what you can do to shorten the approval process, and get your questions answered directly from our guest speakers.
