Justin and Keriann Harrison, along with their seven young boys,are living their dream-all because they took a total leap of faith several years ago. After resigning from his position as director of sales at a large network marketing company, he was considering many different career options. With the support of his wife Keriann, Justin committed their future to doTERRA. Although this was a leap of faith for the young, growing family, they leaped with confidence. "It was scary to leave security, benefits, a salary. People thought we were crazy, but we knew it was the right move," explained Justin. Both Justin and Keriann agree that the sacrifice in the beginning was worth it. doTERRA has allowed them to not only gain financial independence but to also help serve others in ways they had only dreamed of.

Essential oils were introduced into the Sammons’ home when their son Connor was 9 months old. He suffered from severe acid reflex and had never slept for more than 45 minutes at a time. Kari and Gary were more than exhausted from caring for both their infant and toddler. “There was absolutely no rest for the weary,” Kari remembers. In the midst of this exhaustion, Kari received a call from her good friend Betsy Holmes. Betsy explained she had come upon a digestive blend of essential oils and that she should try it on Connor. That evening she put one drop of DigestZen® on Connor’s stomach and he miraculously slept through the night! This was Kari’s miracle moment. She says, “I was astonished at how effectively the essential oils worked!”

Gary watched as Kari’s passion developed towards the oils and has since witnessed how much love and care she has for each person she shares them with. Kari has never felt like an oils sales person—she has simply created a new way to share her love for those around her. “I love sharing the oils and letting people know how to get the best oils in the world for the best price,” Kari exclaims. “When you take on that perspective, there is no need to get discouraged along the way.” She offers the advice to not get hung up when someone rejects the oils. “Some will, some won’t, so what, move on,” Kari says. “It is not our responsibility to incorporate the oils into others’ lives, but it is our responsibility to share them.” Before each class Kari thinks of her mantra inspired by Og Mandino, “Greet this day with love in your heart.” “When we are reaching out with love and sharing the oils with others because we care about them, people will see and feel your warmth. If there was no money attached to these oils, I would still be sharing them no matter what,” Kari genuinely explains. Between the Sammons’ faith, sharing essential oils with others, and raising their children, it is very clear this family is living a life they love.

Like many other dTERRA consultants, Betty didn’t join dTERRA with the intention of building a network marketing business. She simply began using dTERRA products and found that they worked. Before she knew it, she was sharing these benefits with family and friends. Betty explains, “If you believe in something because you have personally experienced benefits, it is easy to share your passion with others.” Read More One of the ways that Betty shares essential oils is through a basic introductory class called, “Essential Oils and Wellness.” She teaches this class two to three times a week. During the class she teaches using essential oils as a natural line of defense. In addition, Betty feels that the most important way to help an individual succeed is by making your process duplicable. Betty gives this advice, “Ask yourself, ‘what would happen if my team duplicated what I did today? Would their business grow?’” Betty knows that the best way to make a business duplicable is to keep things simple, focus on the basics, and work hard.

An avid dTERRA product user, Laurie did not become fully engaged in the business until visiting dTERRA corporate headquarters. She explains, “I felt good about the Executive Team and their vision. I had wanted to work in the “right” business for years, and I have finally been given that opportunity.”

Understanding the opportunity presented to her, Laurie wasted no time in sharing dTERRA with others. She said, “The final ingredients that moved me into massive action were the miracles that happened when individuals used the oils.” Laurie loves helping people find solutions. She is genuine in her effort to aid individuals as they reach for success. She provides this advice for those seeking to build their dTERRA business, “Don’t be concerned about achieving a specific rank instead build for the long-term, residual income. If someone doesn’t go Silver by fully participating, how will they know how to help someone else do the same?” Laurie is a true example of someone who understands the magic of hard work.

Elena Yordan grew up with a solid understanding of healthy living from her mom which she carried forward in her own family. Over time, however, she realized that common issues like colds & flus were hard to treat naturally, until she discovered essential oils. 
Her former work in finance and publishing lead easily to her role as a leadership coach and to the development of the YL90 Plan (Your Life in 90 Days).
