Bridging Workforce and Economic Development
Tracey Bryan, President/CEO of The Bridge of Southern New Mexico, will be the featured speaker at the July 11th MVEDA Business in the Borderplex Forum. She will discuss how the lack of a skilled and ready workforce is consistently identified as the number-one barrier to economic development and diversification of our economy. Thanks to the commitment of a growing set of cross-sector partners, the effort to develop and implement a comprehensive approach to workforce development planning for our region is underway.
The meeting will be held on Tuesday, July 11, 2017 from 11:30 AM until 1:00 PM at the Hotel Encanto de Las Cruces, 705 S. Telshor. It will begin with a hot entrée buffet.
Advance registration is $25.00 per person, payable by major credit card via the secure portal on the registration form. Payment at the door with cash, check or credit card is $30.00 per person. Due to space limitations, reservations are required. Registration closes Thursday, July 6, 2017.
