Father Son Weekend is open to all sons in grades K-12 and their dads. The retreat will offer a relaxed pace with great opportunities for dads and sons to deepen their relationships with each other and with God.
A note about the age range of participants: While the retreat is open to a pretty wide age range of children and youth, dads and sons will be broken up into age groupings for discussions and activities).

Directions from Fort Worth or Dallas
From Fort Worth, Take I-20 East to Dallas. In Dallas take Hwy 175 South to Athens. In Athens take Loop 7 East to Hwy 31E. Exit Hwy 31E. Turn left, away from downtown Athens and toward Tyler. Drive approximately 1 mile and the camp's main entrance will be on the right.

From Houston take I-45 north to Corsicana. In Corsicana take Hwy 31E to Athens. In Athens take Loop 7 North to Hwy 31E. Exit Hwy 31E. Turn left, away from downtown Athens and toward Tyler. Drive approximately 1 mile and the camp's main entrance will be on the right.
Directions to the Camp from Tyler
From Tyler take Hwy 31W toward Athens. Two miles west of the town of Murchison you will see the camp on the left.
Event Information
The Father Son Weekend is a brand new event planned and hosted by Disciples Crossing Camp in Athens, Texas. The retreat is designed to be a relaxing, renewing get away with your son. The weekend retreat will help dads and sons bond together through fun, worship, adventure and Bible study time.
Cost: $110 for dads and $90 for sons. Open to boys grades K-12 and their dads. (For games and break out sessions, the boys will be divided into age-appropriate groups).
