The Place I Belong:

Return to the Self in the Blue Ridge Mountains

Three-Day Retreat with Ami Chen Mills-Naim and CSC Staff

September 28-30, 2012

Blowing Rock Conference Center, Blowing Rock, NC

The Center for Sustainable Change invites you to visit the beautiful Blue Ridge Mountains and join us for a three-day retreat focused on the Principles of Mind, Consciousness and Thought.

Any life in this world presents endless opportunities for pain and pleasure, distraction and suffering—and also the great opportunity to discover irrevocable peace, wisdom, compassion and freedom, within.

Ami Chen

Facilitated by Ami Chen Mills-Naim, author of The Spark Inside and host of the internet radio show, “On the Front Porch with Ami Chen,” along with CSC staff and volunteers, this retreat presents an opportunity to engage in group discussion and have plenty of time for rest and personal reflection over a long weekend.

Autumn leaves will be starting to turn in the mountains. Old habits of thought and identity present themselves in flaming, living color … a temporary costume! Can we see leaves for what they are, and then, with the powerful winds of grace, lose them, loose them—back into the ground from where they came?

We meet together for a re-union … of the self with the Self.

(Please Note: CSC Project Partners and Scholarship recipients require pre-approval before registering. See below for more information.)
