On the heels of this summer's successful i.e.* launch event comes a whole new way of looking at things -- SHOP CLASS, a FREE, six-week intentional mashup of innovative thinkers, innovative doers and curious bystanders.
SHOP CLASS is designed to take the ambitions of i.e.* one step further, blurring the lines between creator and creative minded.
Organized and hosted by Peter Fraser, Ansel Olson and John Sarvay, SHOP CLASS is a two-hour, hands-on discovery zone centered in the historic Marvin Lang Building (next to the Camel on West Broad Street).
a free i.e.* sanctioned event
Thursday, August 4 from 5:30 to 7:30 p.m.
Join Chef Ellie Basch – formerly of Savor and The Lunch Porter – as she takes us on a journey through the intersection of local food and creative cooking.
Participants are asked to bring one local food item (one tomato, or one cucumber, etc.) with them to contribute to our stone soup, or salad...
*SHOP CLASS is a free event! Because of space limitations, we're asking that participants attend no more than two of the six sessions.
