Leadership Embodiment Fundamentals Workshop
A Practice for Confidence, Clarity and Compassion
With Bettina Rothe
October 3-5, 2014  in Victoria, BC

I believe that balanced, centered and embodied leadership skills give us the ability to lead ourselves and others out of the dark morass of fear, our sense of scarcity, our deep seated desire for security, and our need to fix things and into our full potential.” - Wendy Palmer

Leadership Presence is based in the body. How can we access our potential to align conceptual, emotional and physical aspects to be better leaders of our lives?

Leadership Embodiment was founded by Wendy Palmer and draws on the traditions of Aikido and mindfulness practices to increase our capacity for clarity, inclusiveness and empowerment. How can we access the wisdom of the body to become more effective in how we relate, speak and act?

The heart of the LE work is our ability to center ourselves in the face of stressful circumstances. Centering manifests in a state of mindfulness that makes it possible for us to respond to challenging situations with more creativity and awareness. We can tap into the tremendous resources available to us when we are in a centered state of being: able to include others, listen without taking what is said personally and speaking up for our truth.

This is an experiential workshop in which we practice activating the part of ourselves that has choice. We practice simple yet valuable techniques that help us recognize how mind and body habitually react to stress or triggers. We learn alternatives in our responses to meet challenges with more confidence, clarity and compassion.

Satisfied Clients:

The LE workshop has equipped me with priceless tools. Practicing these tools has resulted in conscious and productive responses to conflict and stress. I have learned how to interact with and support myself and others in an inclusive and compassionate manner.”

Bettina's LE classes have enabled me to harness the innate wisdom of the body in ways that are easily and directly applicable to my day-to day work as a facilitator, host, leader and friend, family member and citizen of the Earth. Not only has my awareness of personal patterns and triggers increased, but my ability to connect and work harmoniously with others has improved immensely.”
