Don has worked with a wide variety of businesses to promote them locally and nationally. His focus is on search engine optimization, website optimization and marketing strategy. His experience includes working with a wide variety of business types. 

Don's presentations are in everyday business terms that can be easily understood and uses very little technical jargon. You may know him because you attended one of my presentations at a Chamber of Commerce, SCORE Chapter, Small Business Development Center or online webinar event. Don speaks in lay terms Don is a subject matter expert for SCORE Vancouver.

 

Jennica Mayfield

Jennica is the Vancouver SCORE chapter's Marketing Chair, and also serves as a Subject Matter Expert in the digital marketing industry (for small professional service businesses). She helps address one-off SCORE Clients' questions (related to digital marketing) as they're working with their primary SCORE Mentor. 

Online Marking for Your Business

Though we know it can feel overwhelming at times trying to decide where to spend your time, energy, and budget regarding marketing your business online. That’s why the SCORE Vancouver Chapter is putting on this FREE Workshop of ‘Online Marketing for Your Business’, which is generously being sponsored by the Fort Vancouver Regional Library and hosted at the Cascade Park Library branch.

This workshop will be very hands on, so be sure to bring a pen and paper or a laptop to take notes! We will also provide workshop attendees with a self-assessment worksheet. The worksheet will help guide you through some key aspects of how you’re using technology (or how you should be using technology) to move folks who have never heard of your business to become loyal, repeat customers.

Some of the topics we will cover include:

  1. Introduction to Online Search Basics (SEO 101) to help you be found by the right people, at the right time.

  2. Website considerations that are often overlooked and may be losing you customers.

  3. Mapping your ‘Customer Journey’ from start to finish, so potential customers don’t fall out along the way.

  4. How to better leverage online marketing to make more money by making it easy to buy from you.

  5. Hard realities about the ‘Fortune’ being in the follow-up, and what you can do about it to bring in more business in the short, medium, and long-term.
