Course Leader - Carlos Gonzalez
Carlos Gonzalez has been a volunteer business mentor with SCORE Vancouver for over fifteen years. Carlos was an executive with The Dow Chemical Co USA and overseas divisions, a technology and business consulting company owner in Miami, Fl, and a General Manager of a petrochemical Co in Latin America.
During his career Carlos held management posts in manufacturing, research and development, environmental affairs, business development, business management and general management in diverse businesses such as Chemicals, Polymers, Agricultural Products, and Specialty Products.
His expertise in support of entrepreneurs and small/medium businesses includes product and market development, evaluation of business concepts, business model development, business planning including financial forecasting and risk assessment, start-ups planning and implementation and general business management.
SCORE Financial Statements & Business Assessment Seminar
This three-hour seminar will introduce the importance of understanding, tracking and using key business financial statements in assessing the financial viability of a business opportunity and/or managing your business. The Income Statement, Balance Sheet and Cash Flow Statement will be presented and discussed. We'll also show how to use financial ratios to benchmark your business and discover critical areas affecting performance and competitiveness.
The seminar is offered free to the Vancouver business community through the generosity of Key Bank. A light “brown bag” lunch will be provided by Key Bank during this working presentation.
The tools presented here will be especially helpful to owners and mangers of currently operating businesses.
Additionally, SCORE chapter members will be available to schedule future free, confidential business mentoring to help you apply information from the seminar to your individual situation.
