What can you really do with all those reports?

This seminar is offered to help entrepreneurs better understand their own company's business financial statements and how to use them to plan/manage a small business.  There will be several in-class "hands on" business ratios exercises but more importantly, attendees are invited to later schedule a free confidential business mentoring session to compare your business against industry norms.

Did you know:

  • If you start growing fast you’ll probably run short of cash?  How will this happen and what can you do to prevent it?
  • Which business ratios will a lender use to judge your firm's eligibility for a loan?  Provide your business description when registering and you will receive "expected" ratios customized for your industry at the seminar.  If you wish, SCORE will help you compare "your numbers" against industry standards in a later confidential business mentoring session.
  • What you can learn from your P&L and Balance Sheet?
  • About the importance of forecasting cash needs or how to calculate a break-even point in sales or units?

To encourage full class participation, this class is limited to 6 attendees and often sells out!  The seminar will be led by Vancouver SCORE volunteer Arthur Wm. "Bill" Ruttledge, CPCU who has more than 40 years of business and business education experience.  Attendees will receive a link to an online folder containing copies of all seminar materials.
