Home Hospitality -Adopt-a-Marine for Thanksgiving Program, 2017 

Home Hospitality—Adopt-A-Marine for Thanksgiving! Camp Pendleton ASYMCA’s Home Hospitality program places Marines into community members’ homes for Thanksgiving dinner. Participating Marines are from the School of Infantry (SOI), and since their training schedule does not allow enough time to travel home for the holiday, this program offers them an opportunity to share Thanksgiving dinner with a surrogate family.    

The Marine Students are not allowed to drive so participating community members' must pick them up at the School of Infantry and then return them at the designated times.  The pick up time is 7:30-9:30am and the return time is 5:30-7:30pm - these times are subject to change per the SOI Command.

The information on this form must represent the individual who will be the Responsible Party transporting the two Marines on Thanksgiving Day from and back to SOI.  

Initially only two Marines will be assigned to each responsible party but if you would like to host more than two please note it in the "Remarks" section when you register.

The information you provide will be screened and upon approval will be numbered as this is a first come, first serve event in placing Marines.

We will contact community members after 9 November, when the School of Infantry have finalized the numbers, to confirm their successful participation in this years event and provide further details.
