Children who have sensory integration challenges often experience “overload” throughout their day and have difficulty participating in group activities, transitioning, and making friends. Providing a variety of sensory opportunities throughout the day can help all children stay “in sync” and be more successful in their ability to focus, attend, and socialize with peers.
