The National Cancer Institute estimates that approximately one-third (1/3) of all cancer deaths may be diet related. Free radicals are associated with causing cancer, and antioxidants protect cells from those dangerous free radicals.
Fruits and vegetables are loaded with antioxidants, as are nuts, grains, poultry, fish and some meats. Common Antioxidants include Beta-carotene, Lutein, Lycopene, Selenium, Vitamin A, C & E.
