2010 Cancer Prevention & Screening Updates

Cancer is not just one disease. In fact, more than 100 different types of cancer have been identified.  According to the ACS, approximately 11 million people alive in the U.S. have had some type of cancer. Every year more and more people survive cancer, though the survival rates vary with different types of cancers.

New cancer research and information is always being released. Join UHHS Dr. Judah Friedman for our discussion on 2010 Cancer Prevention and Screening Updates. Register below!

Topics will include:

  • What are the major cancers and how do we screen for them?
  • How to detect cancer early.
  • What life style changes can we make to prevent cancer?
  • How can we reduce our risk for cancer?
  • Identifying high-risk families with a focus on breast and ovarian cancers
  • Your Questions!  Send them to us when you register to ensure they are answered in this session.

Please also join us for the other October wellness events!  We hope you will help spread the word and participation - invite your co-workers and forward this email!
