Mixed-Level Drum Class - Beginner Level to Beyond Beginner Level

For those who've never taken our Beginner Drumming Course OR those who have and wish to study with a Guinean teacher, this course is for you. Whether you have been playing Djembe or Dunun already, you will fit right in.  We'll always review the basics and go on to learn the language of the drum in this lively, hands-on course.

We'll explore the rhythms of Guinea, Mali, Burkina Faso, Ivory Coast and The Gambia. History of the rhythms as well as solo phrases and arrangements will be taught.  Unleash your musical ability as we find our drumming voices together.  Each student will receive some individual attention which really helps!

Bring a djembe to class. If you don't own a drum, you can rent one from DrumConnection.

Only $79.- for 5 Weeks (drum rental is $30. for the 4 weeks, if needed)
