Move your drumming to the next level. Prepare drumming music for performance!
For intermediate to professional drummers with some experience performing. We will focus on new arrangements and rhythms, free-form soloing, stage presence and performance fun! We will also strive to perform at a high level. Gigs will be planned for the semester and a core rhythm group will be established.
If you feel you are ready to take the next step into preparing for and presenting a performance and that you want to be a part of a ‘troupe experience’, this class may be for you. As always, personal drumming technique and personal development will be emphasized.
Joining the Performance Troupe requires a meeting with Alan Tauber for discussion. If you are interested, please email me directly and we’ll set up a discussion time: alan@drumconnection.com Admission is with instructor’s approval only. You don't have to be a great drummer; You have to want to perform for others and get good!
$240.- for 10 Weeks. (Weather conditions may cause a skip night which will change the end date)
Please bring a djembe to class. If you have a dunun and stand, that would be very welcome, as well.
