Healthy NewsWorks Book Launch

   

Honoring the publication of
Leading Healthy Change In Our Communities 2018
You'll hear from some of the student journalists who helped write the stories of 16 Philadelphia-area leaders who are promoting cardiovascular health, access to healthy food, youth sports programs, outdoor play, preventing concussions, and working in other ways to make our communities healthier and safer. The book is the seventh in a series by elementary and middle school journalists engaged in the Healthy NewsWorks program.

Publisher: $5,000 to $7,499

  • Helps fund a school newspaper program for six months
  • Donation of 50 books to schools or other organizations
  • You'll receive bookplate recognition in 50 donated books, logo recognition in printed and/or online book, podium recognition at book launch, and 10 book launch tickets.

Editor in Chief: $2,500 to $4,999

  • Helps fund a school newspaper program for three months
  • Donation of 25 books to schools or other organizations
  • You'll receive bookplate recognition in donated books, logo recognition in printed and/or online book, podium recognition at book launch, and 8 book launch tickets. 

Editor: $1,000 to $2,499

  • Helps distribute school newspapers to 200 students for one year
  • Donation of 10 books to schools or other organizations
  • You'll receive bookplate recogntion in donated books, logo recognition in printed and/or online book, podium recognition at book launch, and 6 book launch tickets

Correspondent: $500 to $999

  • Helps distribute school newspapers to 100 students for one year
  • Donation of 5 books to schools or other organizations
  • You'll receive bookplate recognition in donated books, recognition in printed and/or online book, and 4 book launch tickets.

Reporter: $250 to $499

  • Helps distribute school newspapers to 50 students for one year
  • You'll receive recognition in printed and/or online book and 3 book launch tickets

Researcher: $150 to $249

  • Helps distribute school newspapers to 30 students for one year
  • You'll receive recognition in printed and/or online book and 2 book launch tickets
