FAME Summer Music Technology

in Partnership with the

University of Maryland College Park School of Music

Join us for a unique summer program in state of the art facilties with top level instructors and other youth musicians.  There are two one-week sessions:      Session 1 July 11-15; and Session 2, July 18 - 22. 

Students will have the opportunity to:

  • Explore cutting edge recording software
  • Develop proficiency in computer technology
  • Produce finished CD and MP3 files to share digitally and publish online
  • Enjoy master class with recording artists, engineers and/or producers
  • Be introduced to the business of music
  • Prepare a college portfolio
  • Experiment with music composition
  • Learn about education and career opportunities in music
  • Learn proper use of social media and other online tools, and Much More!

 Students become immersed in a comprehensive, modern,          technology-rich, creativity-based learning environment, which is not  typically accessible during the regular school year. The training  transcends beyond occupations, helping them gain skills for  advanced placement in schools and employment in technology, as  well as inspiring them to achieve.
